This Privacy Policy explains how Qingdao Herestrong Machinery Co., Ltd. ("HERESTRONG", "we", "us") handles personal information collected through www.herestrongmachinery.com.

When you submit an inquiry form, we collect:

• Contact name and email address
• Country
• The model(s) and quantity you are interested in
• Whether you are a dealer/distributor or an end user
• Optional details you choose to provide: company name, WhatsApp or phone number, attachment requirements and any additional message

When you visit the website, our hosting provider automatically processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is needed to deliver the website securely.

When you submit an inquiry, we also create short-lived technical records to prevent duplicate emails and misuse of our forms: an inquiry reference number, the delivery status of our emails, and hashed versions of your email address and IP address used for rate limiting. These records do not contain your message.

With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website, for example which pages are viewed and how visitors found us. Google Analytics cookies are only set after you click "Accept" in our cookie banner. If you click "Reject", no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time via "Cookie Settings" at the bottom of every page. We do not use cookies for advertising.

3. How we use your information

We use your information only to:

• Reply to your inquiry and send you a quotation and product information
• Follow up on your inquiry and, if you place an order, carry out the order and after-sales support
• Keep the website secure and prevent spam or misuse of our forms

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not add you to marketing mailing lists without your separate consent.

4. Legal basis (for visitors in the EU/EEA and UK)

• Steps before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): answering your inquiry and preparing a quotation at your request.
• Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): following up on business inquiries, keeping records of our communications, and protecting the website against misuse.
• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): analytics cookies, which are only set if you accept them. You can withdraw your consent at any time via Cookie Settings.

5. Who we share it with

Your information is shared only with service providers that help us run the website and handle email, and only as needed for those purposes:

• Vercel Inc. — website hosting
• Resend — delivery of inquiry notification and confirmation emails
• Upstash — short-lived technical records used to prevent duplicate emails and form misuse (stored in the United States)
• Google — website analytics (Google Analytics), only if you accept analytics cookies
• Our business email provider (Alibaba Mail) — storage of the emails we send and receive

Our sales staff access your inquiry in order to respond to it. We may also disclose information where required by law.

6. International transfers

HERESTRONG is based in China, and our service providers may process data in other countries, including the United States. By its nature, an inquiry sent to us will be transferred outside your country. We only share the information needed to handle your inquiry, and we use reputable providers that apply appropriate security measures.

7. How long we keep it

We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond to you and to continue our business relationship. If an inquiry does not lead to further business, we delete it within 24 months of our last contact. Order and invoicing records are kept for the period required by applicable law. The short-lived technical records described in section 2 are deleted automatically within 7 days. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive a copy of it. To make a request, email info@herestrong.cn. We will respond within one month.

If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss or misuse.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the effective date shown at the top.
